The Montessori method is a child-centered educational system developed by Dr.Maria Montessori. It emphasizes that children learn directly from their environment and relatively less from listening to lessons taught by teachers. Here we provide a platform for our trainees to research, discuss, and present various important practicals and activities to encourage children to learn in a very natural and enjoyable way. Age below 6 years is the most crucial phase of psychological development in children. The Montessori method enables children to grow into self-constructive and independent beings. P.T.M Group of Institutions was established in the field of education in 1976. The institution entered the Teacher Training field in 2004. We are equipped with Teacher Training Courses at the Primary & Secondary levels. Now the organisation starts the Montessori Teacher Training Institute all over Kerala, in association with the Mitram Montessori & Nursery Teacher Training Institute, Bangalore. The course is of two types: Diploma course with a duration of 8 months and Certificate course with a duration of 3 months. Trained Montessori Educators can assume roles as Teachers, Coordinators, and Administrators within the Institutions. We provide internationally accepted Montessori Teacher Training Certificates that are in demand for acquiring jobs in the Gulf Countries. We offered internship and placement support for teacher trainees all over India and abroad.
